Description
In 1832, the Creek Nation signed a treaty agreeing to cede Creek lands east of the Mississippi River and remove to lands west of the Mississippi. By 1836, most of the Nation had moved west. This ration book lists names of a small band of Creek Indians who were issued supplies while they were encamped in Tennessee ready to move west.

Description
Colonel Return Jonathan Meigs was the Superintendent of Indian Affairs for the Cherokee Nation beginning in 1801. The job was located in Tennessee and information kept by him during his service between 1801 and 1807 is included in this volume.
