Pipsie, nature detective

Let's make this mystery history. Pipsie loves everything wild--from dragonflies to oceans to tall, tall trees. She also loves solving mysteries. That's why she and her turtle Alfred notice that their new friend Frannie the caterpillar has vanished. Pipsie is on the case. She grabs her magnifying glass, goes to her treehouse headquarters, and begins to search for clues.

After Alfred the turtle spends a morning at the park, his foot hurts, and it's up to Pipsie to figure out what happened. As Alfred shows Pipsie where he went that day, they come upon all kinds of insects, and Pipsie finds clues that lead her on a twisty and even slightly stinky nature mystery.
